Terms of Service

ReleaseFlow

The terms that govern access to and use of ReleaseFlow, including account responsibilities, platform rules, and service limitations.

Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of ReleaseFlow websites, dashboards, artist portals, APIs, and related services. By using ReleaseFlow, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials secure, and ensure that anyone using your account is authorized to do so. You are responsible for activities that occur under your account unless caused by our own failure to protect the service.

Platform Use

You may use ReleaseFlow only for lawful music-business and creative operations. You must not misuse the service, interfere with security, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or use the platform to infringe intellectual property, publicity, privacy, contractual, or other rights.

User Content and Rights

You retain ownership of content, metadata, branding, contracts, marketing materials, and other materials you submit to ReleaseFlow, subject to any third-party rights and agreements that apply to that content. You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, transmit, format, display, distribute, and synchronize that content in order to provide the service and any requested integrations.

Distribution, Rights, and Delivery Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, consents, licenses, and authority to submit and manage content through ReleaseFlow. You are also responsible for the accuracy of release metadata, contributor information, ownership claims, rights splits, and delivery instructions.

Connected Platforms

Some ReleaseFlow features rely on third-party services such as streaming platforms, payout partners, marketing tools, and creator platforms including YouTube. Your use of those integrations may also be governed by the third party’s own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, and we cannot guarantee their continuing availability or acceptance of submitted content.

Payouts, Finance, and Reporting

If your account uses financial tools, payout workflows, royalty reporting, or connected payout services, you are responsible for the accuracy of submitted financial, payout, tax, and compliance details. Timing, availability, and success of payouts may depend on third-party providers, funding availability, compliance checks, minimum thresholds, and platform rules.

YouTube and Other OAuth Integrations

If you connect a YouTube or similar third-party account through ReleaseFlow, you authorize ReleaseFlow to perform the actions you request through the granted scopes, such as connecting channels, uploading videos, retrieving channel or video analytics, and managing content workflows. You may revoke access through the third-party provider’s account permissions at any time, but doing so may disable related functionality in ReleaseFlow.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, comply with legal obligations, investigate abuse, or respond to violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time, subject to any active commercial commitments.

Disclaimers

ReleaseFlow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis except where prohibited by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, delivery acceptance by third-party platforms, payout availability, or that third-party integrations will remain available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReleaseFlow and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, royalties, data, goodwill, platform access, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify ReleaseFlow and its operators against claims arising from your content, metadata, rights claims, payout instructions, misuse of the platform, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
